Recent Key Events
Description
The index tracks the 30 most space technology-relevant companies in developed global markets, excluding China, India, Korea, and Taiwan. Eligible candidates must have a free float-adjusted market capitalization above $250M and a 3-month average daily transaction volume above $1M, and are classified under AICS codes 3364 (Aerospace Product and Parts Manufacturing), 5174 (Satellite Telecommunications), 5413 (Architectural, Engineering, and Related Services), or 9271 (Space Research and Technology). Stock selection uses Akros's proprietary NEXUS thematic engine to score and rank companies by their space technology relevance; the top 30 by relative score are selected. Constituents receive tier-based reference weights ranging from 15% (rank 1) down to 1.5% (ranks 23–30), adjusted by a 3% market cap share increment and renormalized, subject to a 35% individual weight cap. The index is rebalanced annually at the end of June, with ad-hoc rebalancing triggered when any constituent's weight exceeds 35% for 3 consecutive trading days.
