Recent Key Events
Description
The index tracks the 10 most relevant Korean companies along the space and aerospace value chain, spanning materials, components, transportation equipment, and satellite communications. The eligible universe comprises KOSPI and KOSDAQ common stocks classified under AICS codes 325, 326, 331, 334, 336, and 517, with a market capitalisation of at least KRW 200 billion and a 3-month average daily trading value of at least KRW 1 billion. Stock selection uses Akros's proprietary NEXUS thematic engine to score and rank companies by their relevance to the space value chain theme; the top 10 names with at least HIGH relevance are selected. Constituent weights are derived by blending the relative rank score (70%) with each company's market capitalisation share relative to the largest constituent (30%), then renormalising, subject to a 15% individual weight cap. The index is rebalanced quarterly at quarter-end, executed over 3 trading days.
