Akros SCHK HK-Global Heavy Asset Low Obsolescence Index

The index pairs a Hong Kong sleeve of Stock Connect Southbound-eligible stocks with a global sleeve of developed-market stocks excluding Hong Kong and China, at a fixed 62%/38% split. Akros's NEXUS engine scores companies on the Heavy Asset, Low Obsolescence (HALO) theme; candidates must rank in the top half by tangible-asset intensity, and a tail-risk screen removes the most expensive, weakest-cash-flow, and most leveraged names before the top 30 Hong Kong and 20 global companies are selected by market capitalization. Constituents are weighted by HALO-score-tilted free-float market capitalization, subject to an 8% cap in the Hong Kong sleeve and 5% in the global sleeve. The index is rebalanced semi-annually.
