The index pairs a Hong Kong sleeve of Stock Connect Southbound-eligible stocks with a global sleeve of developed-market stocks excluding Hong Kong and China, at a fixed 62%/38% split. From aerospace, satellite-communication, electronics, and materials industries, Akros's NEXUS engine selects up to 30 Hong Kong and 20 global names by space-technology relevance, filling any shortfall by market capitalization. Constituents are weighted by an equal blend of thematic score and free-float market capitalization, subject to an 8% cap in the Hong Kong sleeve and 5% in the global sleeve. The index is rebalanced semi-annually.
