Akros SCHK HK-U.S. Biotech Index

The index combines a Hong Kong sleeve of Stock Connect Southbound-eligible stocks with a U.S. sleeve of NYSE- and NASDAQ-listed stocks from pharmaceutical, life-science research, and diagnostics industries, split 62%/38%. Candidates are first ranked by market capitalization and then screened by 6-month average trading volume, yielding 18 Hong Kong and 12 U.S. constituents. Constituents are weighted by free-float market capitalization with an 8% cap, and the index is rebalanced semi-annually.
