Akros Korea Manufacturing Core Alliance UCITS Index

The index tracks 35 Korean companies across six strategic manufacturing sectors—AI Semiconductor (60%), Rechargeable Battery (8%), Shipbuilding (8%), Defense (8%), Power Grid & Nuclear Energy (8%), and Robotics & Humanoid (8%)—that are positioned to fill critical roles in the US-allied manufacturing supply chain. Constituents are selected from KOSPI-listed stocks (with selective KOSDAQ inclusion for Robotics) meeting free-float market cap and liquidity thresholds, filtered by sector-specific AICS codes, and ranked using Akros' NEXUS thematic relevance engine. Within the AI Semiconductor sleeve the two highest NEXUS-ranked memory-chip leaders are each anchored at an initial 17% target, while remaining weights combine market-capitalization rank and NEXUS score rank. As a UCITS-compliant variant, individual constituents are capped at 20% and each consolidated corporate group is capped at 20% (Directive 2009/65/EC Articles 53 and 52(5)), with an ad-hoc reduction to 17% if any constituent's weight exceeds 20% for three consecutive trading days. The index is rebalanced quarterly.
