Tesla said it began Cybercab production at Gigafactory Texas during Q2 2026, marking the start of a production ramp for its purpose-built autonomous vehicle.

Tesla said it was securing debt facilities that would provide up to $30 billion of borrowing capacity to accelerate its AI, robotaxi, Optimus, semiconductor and solar investments.

Tesla's Q2 2026 filing showed that a $1.005 billion unrealized gain on its SpaceX equity investment supported reported profit, while operating income fell 57% to $398 million and free cash flow was negative $1.09 billion.
